What was trending on TikTok June 2024?

Hello there! It has been a while, but ‘we are so back’ with a fresh new blog post! As June 2024 comes to a close, TikTok continues to captivate millions with its creative entertainment and viral phenomena. From Cork kids rapping, to all things Taylor Swift we couldn’t get enough. Let’s take a little glance back at what caught our attention this month and more importantly, the trends!

The Hit Sounds

‘Please, please, please’ tell me you have heard this new hit! (You definitely have)

Sabrina Carpenter’s new song ‘Please, Please, Please’ has been the soundtrack of June 2024. Brands have hopped on the trending song behind their content videos. Some even took it a step further with a humorous reference to her partner and Irish actor Barry Keoghan who stars in the music video.

Watch how Supermac’s used this trending song and music video to promote their product. The Tiktok also reminds everyone how it is an Irish food chain.

Kabin Crew – The Spark... more popularly known as ‘the Cork kids' song’.

Who knew a group of kids from the West of Ireland would go viral on TikTok? This fun and infectious beat reached a wide audience across the globe. Countless of brands have quickly jumped onto the trend throughout their TikTok's this month and we can’t blame them, it is reallyyyy catchy!

Check out how Mr. Tayto Ireland strategically used this song.

Trending Videos

All things Taylor Swift

As Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour is quickly approaching to the Aviva Stadium, brands and content creators have used this opportunity to contribute to the excitement. From clothing brands creating The Eras Tour outfits to people in the office choosing their era, the upcoming concerts have quite literally taken over TikTok this week.

Watch how Lidl Ireland hopped onto this trend as well which received 463k views in one day!

Reem - Joey Essex

As the newest season of Love Island began this month in came the floods of trending scenes. If you haven’t seen the show, you don’t have to, TikTok will keep you updated. A scene in particular that took off on TikTok was Joey Essex saying, ‘my hair is looking reem’ to which one of his fellow islanders responds, ‘what does reem mean?’.

Since this scene aired, of course a song and endless amount of TikToks have been made. Brands like Ryanair quickly clung onto the comedic trend. Why? It's catchy, relatable and of course... trending! In return, driving interaction with the video.

For that extra bit of engagement, we do love throwing in a good hashtag, let’s see what hashtags were trending…
