A drone sight survey case study
The challenge
Six months ago, our team received a challenging project from a construction client. The client had been building a data centre for over a year in a restricted airspace location, which was in close proximity to the Dublin airport (within 8 km of the runway). Despite searching for drone operators to document the project's progress, the client had not been able to find anyone willing to take on the project.
Fortunately, our drone operator Zack had the necessary qualifications to undertake the task. With a site visit, a risk assessment, and back-and-forth communication with the IAA, Social Directions Agency was granted approval for bi-monthly flights over the construction site for a year.
Our drone services have carefully documented the project's progress, which we swiftly edit and send over to the client, allowing them to inspect the progress from above. Drones are valuable tools in the construction, real estate, and farming industries. While our team's jobs are not typically as complex as this one, we are always ready to take on any project, no matter how challenging. Whether you need a one-time drone service or regular drone flight operations, our team is always ready to help.
